steam truble

well i just instald steam and it finds all kind's of servers (20 ESF) whit a great ping (round 100) but when i join i get 2000 ping so can some1 tell me if that's a bug on my PC or something

Your ping would change from server to server. The further away the server host is from you, the higher your ping will be.

but if i put the location in the filter it dosent find aney servers
on aney of the locations it only finds them on all

could it be my 56k conection

Oh yea, a 56k modem is killer on your ping. I used to play alpha and 1.0 on a 56k connection. And my ping would be 200-400. Sucks hardcore.
