steam STILL not working.

OK i thought i had it figured out, just to be certian I installed the Half-Life update thingy, then I installed esf into the usual steam/steamapps/email/counter-strike folder and I restarted steam and then...... Nothing, no 3rd party games, I clicked on the ESF icon and it said "preparing to play counter-strike" then i tried going into half-life to get ESF up in the "custome game" section.... It wasnt there, i refreshed and still nothing. So then I try to just search for ESF games to play though my filter, I found some games and when I tried to play on WON it said i needed to install the custome game (ESF). This is a joke.

Don't install it into your counterstrike folder!!!

Steam\SteamApps\youremailhere\Half-life\

Now if a Half-Life is not there, create it yourself, all your custom mods go in there. Silly guy, of course it says Counter-Strike if your installing it there . It now should say "Prepareing to Play Half-Life".

When i startesf on steam it says that fmod.dll couldnt be found and it couldnt load client.dll... what should i do?plz help me

get the steam pack: (use the evil one Internet Explorer)

Get the pack, install it in the esf steam folder. Then go to ur normal half-life folder, search for fmod.dll and copy it to the steam half-life folder.. that should work. If not, u did it worng.

i already did that but when i create my own game it crashes
