Ive been using steam for a while and all the sudden it just stoped working. I go to load up steam, and it says "updating steam" and it downloads to 100%. When it finishes it says steam is unavailable. I tried to goto the steam website but it doesnt seem to be responding. Im guessing they updated it because there has been more servers on it lately. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem using steam or if its just me.
Or atleast that's what i've been told.yup pretty much...i got steam hl and cs patched and when i went to join a esf server it said that it couldnt access my client.dll...ive reinstalled esf and got the dll file from several friends that can play on steam and i still cant play...i really dont feel like reinstalling steam but that might be my only choice =\

You need the FMOD.DLL (version 3.6.0.0) placed in your half-life folder.
well steam is RUNNING fine now. now i have a dif prob. It tells me it cant authenticate my user ID ticket whenever i try to join a server. it doesnt allways happen though. really only 90% of the time. i was able to get on a server last night but i cant right now. i checked up at the site and it said the steam servers were down and then they were over loaded, and they were trying to fix the prob. so im hoping its all on thier end.
