Steam Problem.

Again steam is causing me problems.But I don't really know if its ESF or steam itself.Anyways,has there ever been a time where you've wanted to play ESF and that small screen comes up which says:

Preparing to Launch Earths Special Forces??

Well....far out...sometimes it'll launch the game in an instand....but sometimes it could stay like that for 30 mins until launching itself.Any help on making the launch process faster?? Thanks guys.

Usually when you have updates, loading a game will take longer.

Yeah, hit cancel and try again. That usually works for me, sometimes, most of the time.

But if the game is updating, just wait for it to finish.

when you last installed windows ? try to refresh it , time in time .

It usually happens when I've been doing something else like -
Surfing the web
Playing other games
MSN

Then when I want to play a game that requires steam it can take a very long time until its actually launched.
