steam problem

i have the esf 1.1 non steam and wen i dled the 1.2 decited sever thing for windows its says it cant find steam so do i need steam for 1.1 or just for 1.2 thing and where can i get the steam thing

1.2 and the Client version are what you need, which is out in a few minutes, dedicated isnt what you need.
