Steam agaaaain...

Hey, IsrAlien here.

Id like to first off thank you for taking the time to read this... even if you wont know how to help me out, atleast I thank you for bringing your attention here.

Second, my problem. It is STEAM-related and I found a different topic with a guy that had the same problem (kind of) but I tried doing what was suggested and what helped him, didnt help me.
Alright, so... I got STEAM. I download ESF Steam pack V2. I install it and everything... And yet when I open up STEAM, ESF does not show up in "My Games"
I do not know how to fix this.... Please help me.

its under third party games...

and if not there, exit and restart steam, then WALLA

Your ESF directory must be in your Half-Life dir.

\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life\esf

then it's under your Steam games in the "my games" window.

Alright. Thanks! I'll go try that right away. Also, which Steam pack version should I install? I currently ONLY tried to install Steam Pack V2. Could that be my problem?

I'd actually suggest getting the ESF Steam Installer from ESF-World. First start up Half-Life on Steam to get your folder created, then use the installer, this gets you everything the Steam pack has and a few extras in a nice compact installer .

Alright. Although right now I finally got it to work (thanks Vanji, that was my problem) I'll try to use the ESF Steam Installer from ESF-World (thanks Shadow for suggesting it, thanks ESF-World for having it :]) Thanks everybody! A mod can happily close this now.
