I've been wanting to know this too. I would want to set my starting PL to like SSJ level so I could experiment, like for those testing beam sprites. This would come with both pluses and minuses:

+ : You can experiment.
- : People can start spamming the greater beams (big bang) and that kind of stuff right away.

I hope there is a command, so I could experiment.

The answer is NO -- There Is NO Starting Powerlevel CVar for ESF. However, DMZ has CVars for that.

They have that cvar only in teambuilds,afterwards they remove it

it would be like that:



Lamer starts game and sets start pl to 999.999.999.
lamer now has 999.999.999 pl.
lamer shuts off pl balance.
lamer makes start pl to ... hey moment!!! every character has other start pl. so its IMPOSSIBLE to make a cvar for start pl. it would be something which lets u set the pl for every individual client. that would be even more dumb...

everybody would just type "pl 999999999" ...

there is no cvar in the normal client.

NO DMZ vs ESF related posting. The mods, for the last time, are NOT in competition.

Secondly, I do not believe that there is a starting pl cvar, I think it's coded into the game.
