as hes basing it on the toy and not a tv version its got a higher chance to be transformable I hope it is anyhow

Probally not. I havent taught myself how to animate, man i cant even rig. Plus im not sure where the arms disapear to when its in it's transformed state, they fold away somewhere at the back, jus dunno how.
Theres also a part on the back where it changes into the back end of the plane which i dont really wanna model cos its looks quite big and out of place.

However, if i add a cut to the side of the body and detatch the front half from the back half, it should then be fully able to transform

The model is coming allong really nice, cant wait to see it finished and skinned.
