Nothing is being withheld from the consumer. Expansions happen. Expansions happen to RTS, almost every single RTS out there has had an expansion. Starcraft had broodwar. Remember broodwar? Apparently you don't.

If you don't like expansions don't play successful RTS games.

Also, instead of us having to buy into a new franchise and deal with different licensing and development issues, we can support one IP that uses expansions to improve gameplay.

expecting more than a 3M sales in 1 month

3 million sales on its first month?! That's an impressive sales figure. But it leaves to question that what will the other two "parts" of StarCraft 2 offer in terms of multiplayer considering WoL already had all 3 factions playable?

Pretty much agree, its still your choice to buy or not. Right now, Blizz never disappoint me and interms of game quality and I think all are worth it.
