Spore Gameplay Overview [Video!]

This looks like a FASCINATING game. Like the superb blend of Black And White, EVO (old SNES game... anybody remember?), the Sims, and... Well, I'm sure there is another game that this has qualities of. But this is frikkin amazing!!! I'm with Shiyo on praying this runs on my computer... It should be out around summer time, right? That means I can crank up my A/C to keep my overclocked computer cooled.

Hmmm... I'm thinking of a humanoid, with claws on its backs, and manipulative hands... and teeth... Sharp teeth...

That's what I thought of when I first saw it too. That game ruled. I also thank Alea for bringing this to attention as I had never even heard of this game before. <3

The video is almost a year old, it was demoed (sp?) during last years GDC. Theres an hour long video on the web somewhere, but thats not all gameplay, a good part of it is Will Wright talking. Anyway, this game looks amazing, i've been waiting for it since it was first announced.

HAhahaha, i saw this video more a couple weeks before Halloween. Spore is going to own hardcore. Wouldn't need a crazy video card but if you aren't on 64 bit I suggest you do so for this game. Its going to be crazy.

They weren't announced but I don't think they'll be that intense. He was running it on a laptop at the GDC.
