Splash Damage

Question...

Can you start blocking to avoid splash damage? I'd heard that if you block, it's turned into ki damage instead of health damage...is this right?

I'm not certain, but I don't think splash damage can be blocked.

Couldn't you negate most of it though by turning on Turbo?

If I remember correctly, if you hold the block key you will take less damage from the splash radius.

How much less? Today I was playing, someone fired a blast at me. I held block, and he detonated it right in front of me...I took a huge amount of damage.

Well if you wouldnt be blocking youd be dead. About that mutch.

If the radious is big enough not even the block will save you since the beam is so strong ^^

If you block melee hits, yes it will take some ki, but you will take reduced HP damage.

I don't know if beam damage also drains Ki when you block it, though. But blocking does reduce splash HP damage.
