Everything has to start somewhere - nothing has ever just been so that's one of the things that boggles me

The center of our Milky Way supposedly exists out of a hell of a lot of stars and possibly a massive black hole that keeps all planets in the Milky Way. Just a speculation though.

I believe scientists have been able to spontaneously create matter from a vacuum, which would certainly explain it. Don't ask me for a reference though because I honestly don't remember where I heard it.

They're clouds of dust, gas, and plasma. They can form new stars and also be created from dying stars.
