sound looping

I need help with making an attack sound loop.
It's not the length of the wav, because its dead on the same time length as the wav im replacing

Well for example i was going to use a new candy beam wav, it plays , but it will not loop.

make sure it's the same quality, stereo, and all that other good stuff the official sounds are

Same quality, same size, i even made it the same length down to milliseconds.
And you have to use mono or the sound is silent.
Still no luck :/
