Something quick and cool

here is something i made. something kinda quick, and easy in a way

use some of a tutorial for it

I see the quick part....but I don't see the cool part. It's just some lense flairs and a filter. Pretty simple.

I'm not sure I like it, something about the colours, they're not 'interesting', and the grooves on those circles is too deep. I appreciate it's quick, so I'll assume you can do better, so show us what you're actually capable of

yea i can do better then that. it only took me maybe like a total of about a minute to do :S ill do another one sometime and post it.

thats decent, try to stay away from lens flairs unless u absolutly have too, the effect is pretty cool even though its just a simple emboss..

Yes, try and stay away from lens flairs...they are overused.

Just don't use filters as a crutch. I understand you need to experiment and everything, but don't let the tools do all the work. Create something that is your own.
