War Craft 3! I heard its really good unless you love RPGs i nthat case get NWN but WC3 is an RPG to your heros can level up

well i gotta say, i was the hugest warcraft 2 fan in its day, one of my fave games so when war3 came out i was stoked. went out and bought it on the day it came out (july 3rd) played for a week, been collecting dust on my shelf ever since. If you're basing the choice on what warcraft 2 was like, dont get it, get nwn. otherwise, it's a good game in its own right

of course 56k is fine on wc3, it's a strategy game. Homeworld was good on 56k. Though, i never liked warcraft 2, until i saw wc3, which made me like warcraft 2 because it was just so much better than wc3. I don't like wc3, and i don't like neverwinter nights, because it's an rpg. I recommend getting either Jedi Outcast or GTAIII unless you have both.

Warcraft 3 is worth the money, its got ALOT of campains, a great story, and each race (human, orc, undead, night elves) are different, in a big way, its nothing like wc2, so compairing them is stupid (to all ppl who have done it) wc2 was just a rts, wc is a rpg more then a rts, most of the campains are not, get a base, get more units then the other team, kill them, the campains are very good, and change all the time, wc3 uses a good deal of ram for a rts/rpg game, running it below 1000 res is way to small (even on 21" screen) so u will need a nice comp for it

nwn i have, but i have not tryed it yet, since my comp is out of order (im on laptop now) but everyone says its a 3d balders gate, which is cool, if u want a good rpg, get morrowind, but u will need a VERY good comp to run it well, something like a 64m video card, 256ram, and an P3 or althon 1600 or higher

edit: yea.. gta3 is crap on pc, i dunno why, just a bad port i guess, but it just will not run on anything

well, then just get wc3, i hate rpg's too much to tell you to get neverwinter nights.

And BTW, the problem with GTA3PC is the compatiblity issues, it doesn't seem to work right on many people's computers. I'm probably just the lucky ones. 40fps average.

GTA3's just as fun on my ps2..

Anyway...I own War3.
It's a fun game..but I haven't played it since a few days after I bought it.
I played for a week or two with some friends...and then we collectively shelved it.
5 people did the same thing at roughly the same time, without talking about it.
We all just.......stopped playing.

I'd suggest NWN.
If you like the classic D&D style of RPGS, you'll love NWN.
I don't own the game..but I've heard it's incredible.
I'd go for that one first.

NWN is a Dungeons&Dragons based RPG
and it use the 3. edition of the dungeons and dragons rules
