actually mouse acceleration makes it more UNprecise.
Its like, the faster you move the mouse physically the further the cursor travels on your screen.
Take if off and the cursor speed is actually the same as the physical movement, thus more precise (if you're used to it, that is).
But once you're used to it you never want to turn it back on :D

anyone ever felt the difference between m_filter 1/0 btw??
Well you probably know already, but m_filter 1 causes HL to use the average of 2 mouse movement frames.
Supposedly, it will filter out small irregular mouse movements and cause the cursor to move more smoothly.
But no, I can't really tell the difference.

I myself have the Copperhead Tempest Blue, and i must say it's good.
Me too. Copperhead Tempest Blue is the best, but Diamond Plasma Blue is far better looking.
For sensitivity changing, I just use Razor's On-The-Fly DPI changer, but normally it's always kept on 2000 DPI @ 1000 Hz. :)

Anyway, more ontopic... I don't change any cam settings, mouse sens = default (3), m_filter = 0.

zomg Ren's 1337 settingz!~!~
heres mine, i use a laser mouse as well

cam_idealdist 100
mosue sensitivity: 1.23
mouse acceleration: off
2000 dpi
mouse filter off

I dont really like mouse filter, it smoothes out the mouse and makes it more accurate when moving ur mouse slowly, but when ur moving ur mouse fast, which is the majority of playing esf, i find it not as accurate, but its probably because of my fps,

I also find mouse accelration makes ur accuracy a bit worse as well, because instead of memorizing how far u turn ur mouse, u also have to remember how fast ur moving ur mouse to that spot too, because if u move there more fast, then ur mouse will turn more sharp, and if ur moving ur mouse the same length but slower, u will barely turn much.

mouse acceleration is usually for laser mouses i think, its for the Logitech G series, or the Razor Copperhead

here are some of my keys, ive been using since the ooold days

w,a,s,d =control
Mouse 1 = fire
Mouse 2 = togglefly
Mouse 3 = slot1
Mouse 4 = sensitivity toggle
Mouse 5 = powerup
Mouse 6 = turbo
shift = secondary atk
r = teleport
e = block
q = slot3

anyway, u guys can pay me via paypal for this stuff
