Server Help Please...

Alright I couldn't find a thread that already has this, sorry if its been posted before but please help me.
BEFORE ANYTHING, I DO NOT HAVE THE LAN GAME THING CHECKED WHEN I MAKE A SERVER. IT IS NOT A LAN GAME I'VE DONE EVERYTHING TO MAKE SURE OF THAT SV_LAN 0 AND ALL! Oh, and I am using DSL.

Here's my problem. Whenever I make a server no-one can see it, including myself. I think it is a firewall, but maybe a DSL firewall. Is there anybody that can help me?

Sorry, and I don't have any firewalls on pc turned on when I go into ESF. So I figured it must be my DSL. I use a router, but I doubt thats it. Do I have to port anything or?

You must use a switcher/router combo. Therefor theres a firewall. Its the only thing that I can thin of thats preventing you from getting your server loged into the list.

Hmm, I just got back from my friends house and he's using a router but he has cable, and it works...Is there anyway to get rid of firewall?

Dont get rid of your firewall. Now, tell me what type of switcher/router (FIREWALL !!!11!11) you have so I can help you.

My Router is a - Networkeverywhere wireless B broadband router. And I don't really know what you mean about what kind of Firewall it is.
