er...its still a wip, the mouth will be skinned, and since im not sure if its going into esf or UT2k4 i dont give a damn about polycount, and i have it on very high authority (benmathis of www.poopinmymouth.com) that it is well modeled.

also my system roxorz so there again, polycount=eaten by my raw processing and graphical power muahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

your model has alot of segments that dont really need to be there like in the wrists, chest, and face

im just assigning bones now, but i have no clue about it...im following the tutorial on 3dtotal.com as best i can, but anyone with animating/bone assigning experiance with 3dsmax would be greatly appreciated...

soon soon, im learning about bone assignments now, when ive got it all boned and animated (thats gonna take a while unless i get some nice people to help me) itll be done.

Alright, here's my crit. The legs aren't too long. They're too skinny at the bottom. Further more the guy is missing his crotch! It like the legs just begin at the waist which couldn't be further from the truth obviously. However, the rest looks good and if these parts were fixed then I think it could be damn near perfect.

dots yummeh! i'l help with deh bones and animations if tis needed, but first, it wouldnt hurt to cut down on certan polys would it? the head is sooooo damm high in polys, you could get away with the cost of things like his hands should be mitts, not 5 fingered to save polys :O

he has all those polies in his face but where the hell is his facial detail for those polies, you dont really need that many polies to make his face look smooth, he doesnt even have any lips for christ sake :/,

Well Pariah if it is too many polies it will not work on ESF and also the less polys you have the less lag and the more fun you will have. Also if you have useless polys that dont do anything but take up space then they can be removed for the better. That is why polycount is important.

OMG kick ass model i cant wait till you release and what does everyone here think about that they made a second game for ff 10 and not ff 7? (personaly i hate it the game not the model lol)

becareful thats off topicand mods dont lie that, i dont want this thread closed. sorry i havent updated in a while, i just started a new job!!! shijing, that would be awsome, the polycount for the hands is so minimal that it wouldnt matter, and some animations i would like 4 ingers+thumb.

i have taen o a **** load of polies without affecting how he looks. and i gave him lips. heres the final render.

i might change them...dunno tho, since i used the origional ff7 model fromthe actual game as a reerance, and it fits perfectly against mine, i would have to say the proportions are spot on...wouldnt u agree?
