Secondary Spirit Bomb Explosion Sprite

Just a really simple suggestion, how about making the sprite for the Spirit Bomb's alternate fire's explosion (not the bomb itself) look like the one from the show instead of a regular explosion. Here's some ref pics:

Against Vegeta...


Against Dr. Wheelo...


Against Turles...


It's sort of like a spiky ball of blue electricity that branches off into smaller, spiky balls.

That actually would look cool in-game. Even though there is only one instance to where that explosion is actually in the show, it's enough. ;)
It shouldn't really be all that hard to implement.

It makes sence too. A large SB that creates a huge explosion for those who really dont care about aim. A secondary SB that creates those bolts that damage enemies that travel near it, and if hit a enemy directly, do more damage.

Sounds good. Though if they change the explosion sprite for this move, it couldn't hurt to do the same to others also. At the moment, every explosion is the same, just a different size and color.

K :rolleyes: Then make a difrent explosion for everything..... Difrent for balls... and beams... spirit bomb and death ball....
I can describe how every one of them sould look like... if ya want...

heres how i see it working graphicly.... the middle spehere(this is the center of the explosion) and a few spheres outside of the middle one, some distance away with cylender like beams pointing to the outer spheres... and lightning arcing between some of the spheres randomly

is that even possible to do in halflife though effectively like in the show? is it able to engulf the opponent instead of blow up?

When a genball (example) blows up, after the explosion there is smoke that engulfs the player. All it needs is to have no explosion sprite, and have this new sprite replace the smoke. Or have this replace the current explosion and have no smoke. Either way, the sprite can work to engulf the player.
