Screenshots taken of movies.. how to?

When I play a video and I want to take a screen shot by pressing PRINT SCREEN on my keyboard I just get a black spot where the movie was supposed t when pasting it into a bmp. I tried several screen capture programs (Hypersnap, Screenshotmaker Pro, Spider.....) I need this to take a shot and make a model of it (a Vegeta). Please help me!

Ok if you are watching a movie in DivX have another window behind it and select the other window so DivX is not highlighted(But still on top) and hit print screen twice. That way always works for me and it should work for you aswell.

omg....why didnt someone tell me this when i asked before.....i got a lot of screenshots to take.

All I do is press Print Screen, then paste it into Photoshop...

I usually open it in Virtual Dub and go from there, resizing in Photoshop. Usually works pretty well.
