Symptoms were large black splotches of blood causes by burst blood vessels under the skin. In the more concealed parts of the body, namely the armpits and groin, black golf ball to apple sized sacs of blood appeared. It was excrutiatingly painful in the last hours as your entire body burned from fevers ranging from 103 to 111 degrees and sometimes reaching 118. Not to mention your lungs, colon, and stomach filling with blood from excessive internal bleeding.
You should be so lucky in days like these to have a sinus infection or a cold. It could be far worse.
