Recording a game...

Well, i know how to record a game and watch it on the halflife engine, but is there any programme i can use to record my in-game action and send it to my friend to watch on real-player or media player or something (like the team did with the beta 1.1 preview etc...) Thanks for any response

Same here I want to be able to record a game and turn it into an .avi file.

By the way how do I record in game fottage ? like what is the console commands ?

You type into the console while in a game

/record "demo of name"
and then when you want to finish it you put
/stop

Darn, i have run into a problem. I type in
startmovie demoname framerate
it takes one bmp picture, then crashes onto the menu screen, anyone able to help?
