Random Sigs...

well i was wondering, how cud i make my sig so it picks random sigs? cuz i made a few and cant decide which 1 to have..... is it hard to do?

Hey yeah, I would like to have random avatars cuz I got a few good ones.

it has something to do with a php script. whenever you refresh the page, or visit the page again, it will load a different picture. it loads all the images that you include in the script. its not forum based though. you have to make it, or have someone do it for you. judge had one like this, but he didnt make it, his friend made it for him. :]

I think it would work with Java, too
I tried to bind PHP in here ... but I didn't get it to work
ask anyone who knows java ... he should just be able to use random function and send ...
the only thing you've to hope ... there's a maxlength of chars in your sig ... and it's very hard to use scripts in it (I did it before the decreased the maxlength)

i sent judge a PM a while ago, but what i said about him having his Randomized sig, is what i said. he didnt make it, so he dont know how. or maybe he was just saying that so he dont have to explain it to me. but i already asked him, and he said he didnt know how to do that, he had someone make it.

I have a gr8 site that can do a custumizable thingy thing like
sending you adress that returns random pics from a group of 5 pics each...
you can even do that one adress like that will be one of the random pics and then you`ll have a random of 9!
and so on

the only problem is
that its in hebrew

I used to have a gr8 avatar for this forum but it was deleted for me by the undescribable laws in this forum

if the forum have a size problem they should do like all other sain forums:
that if the size is too big the forum will minimize it till its OK!
that way everybody is happy!

yeah its a bit old thread, but I did a highlight on my name and I got this thread aswell .

anyway I made the sig I had myself, but I send the jpg's to a friend of mine, and he made it.

but I changed the sig cuz it stopped working. So I think the forum doesnt support it anymore.

The forum supports it (there's a possibility to make it changes every X seconds) ... as I said ... it's possible to bind JavaScript in your sig ... then you can radomize and send this pic to a place in your sig ... it works fine ... but there's 500-char-limit in sigs ... so it's really hard to bind in scripts, because they need much chars
(I made a countdown-script ... that's almost 1 site of code)

and I know howto write this script ... the only thing is the 500-char-limit ... I found a way howto bind in more than just 500-chars (I could bind in unlimited chars) ... but I'm NOT going to tell this anyone, because there's a reason for the limit

so find a good PHPer with webspace, who can give you one link which changes everytimes you connect ... this should be possible, too

and I have another good idea how to call for scripts without passing the 500 limit thingu thing!
in a <*Script><*/Script> tag you can somehow summon
some *.jv files to be as your script...
or something like that.... but I dont knowbs howdoto

please tell me and I'll make the randomizition myself!

it's called *.js (not *.jv)
