You'll find that the further you look into a stereotype, the easier it is to disect it. I'd also go as far to say that with technologies growth, it's no longer a funny stereotype, so movies, tv shows, etc, are less likely to perpetuate it.

This is all my (qualitative)reasoning though, no numbers or anything to back any of what I said up, so there.

I'm not sure whether I'm a geek or not, though people call me it. I get A+'es A's and B+'es usually, and I do like my computers, but I still like working out and a lot of sports. Where would you place me? =/

I'm 14 and in pretty bad shape so I can hardly bench 45 Kg's. Most people who are NOT geeks/similar bench like 50/55/60, though they claim they can take 90+. I seriously doubt there are more than 1% my age who can bench 100 kg's or more.

My brother works out and has been for three years, pretty intensely, he's a big bastard and he can only bench 105 Kg's...
