If i have a AMD Athlon XP 2200 Cpu with the asus mainboard a7n 266 c, how much watt needs it???

and what is the best cooling for the cpu???


(i had a thread where are all these questions, but someone closed it, and didnt answered them so i ask them again. and this cant be spam because spam is something like only smily posts, or ...)

Watts it needs, i think you mean how many watts (of heat) its puts out. Yeah i have a few problems with the 2200+ and cooling issues. I belive it outputs 74watts (but dont quote me)
AMD Spec says that athlons can run at up to 90C but thats one thing i wouldnt do because of satbility issues and the like, if you can keep it in or around 50C you should be fine. Get a Globawin or a Zalman HSF (heatsink&Fan) because they are good proformers and arnt to expensive or noisy hope this helps :D

ahh good that i got today a 350W Power Supply.

But there are still crashes, not as often as before, but still crashes.

i think i format C: and install win98 completly new.

now i have to find the serial....

WinXP would be a better bet for the hardware you have much better resouce management, dont let this degenerate into which OS is better though.
