question... about this banner

im in the competition of the banners and I wanted to see if you guys liked it and if so any tips?

The Vegeta image needs to be completely cut out, meaning there is no white border around it. The ESF logo also seems dark, making me believe you need a better host. I'm also not a fan of the BG, it seeming incomplete and awkward in places. A tip, if your using photoshop, is to take any image, duplicate the layer it's on, select the soft light layer filter, and then gaus blur it 1.0. It should make the image and logo stand out, and look more clean.

I'm actually quite partial to the white border around the Vegeta cut-out. Not only does it impart a pseudo-aura around the character, which is true to the nature of Dragon Ball Z, but it also fits well with the background theme which contains the grey strip with a similar white border running horizontally along the length of the banner. I'm not, however, sure how well grey works with the scheme. It may behoove you to search for another background color and maybe a slight augmentation of the background itself, aside from that horizontal bar I mentioned earlier. Without that bar, the white border around the Vegeta image would be discordant.

Looks pretty good so far though. Nice work.

ok ill take off the satin effect on the logo so it stands out.. um ill see what i can do with the bg cause i felt it was too plain so i grabed the gradient tool set it to difrence and thats what i got.
