if the psx2 going have half-life. when the hard drive and net comes out. could they download mods? is that in the works? or do you guys know. I get asked this every damn day by some friends who is too poor to get a computer i guess

The Playstation 2 doesn't have a hard drive, I don't see how you can go online with it and download MODS for any of its games. There simply would be no where to save the downloaded files.

Actually you can buy a peripheral HD now. The Half-Life game in the console format does not support modding however.

Yeah..
EVERYBODY knew about the external HD sine before the PS2 was even released.
What do you think those USB ports in the front are for?
They ain't just for show!

Half-Life for PS2 has been out for a LONG time now....and since you couldn't alter the information on the disk..you can't modify the game.

Good thing, though...
I don't want HL mods spreading to my online PS2 world..they've already infested everything on the internet.....
