The infected Alex Mercer isn't the real one. Remember that the virus can absorb the memories and physical of any being. Alex Mercer is the first one it comes in contact with and absorbs him receiving all his memories.

Yeah, well, he is gradually transformed I think. I don't quite remember the cut scene, but I'm pretty sure the body's gone in the end.

I didn't like the story of the first game at all, so I doubt i'll like it this time.

The game itself was insanely fun, slicing people up and feeling all god-like was fun - though it does gets repetitive after a while.

Well I gotta say the first one was a flop but this looks like a much more improved and polished game. Im quite impressed how they decided to focus on single player cos thats where most companies **** up these days trying to make a single player game into a hybrid multiplayer such as Assassins Creed and stuff...

Yeah, 12 player multiplayer and it comes out october 1st.
