should be pretty fun, the first one was pretty fun, little monotone but fun!

Hated the first one, so probably not gonna get #2.

I really liked the first, especially the Parkour. My only gripe was it's combat mechanic. You could unlock some really cool moves but you couldn't use them on the majority of powerful mutants. Come on, whats the point of unlocking Suplexes and stuff if you can only use them on humans and low lvl mutants who die in one punch as it is?

They better innovate a lot in this, i got tired of seeing the same building destruction animation again and again.

well yeah i hope you get stronger in this one and pwn the big mutants, cant tell from the trailer if you are that strong one or some boss.

Give me Red Faction type destruction and am sold.

I have a feeling this one will be much better then the original. Something akin to AC2, DS2 and the like. The improvement i mean.

I always thought this game had a lot of potential.

Oh man no change in the game! Still looks the same to me. The virus should at least affect this guy in a different way and should get different powers! The first sights of Prototype 1 were really cool, like he had nice and clean designs for his arm blades and stuff and then they went ahead and started overdesigning the character's transformations and finally looked like some crappy mash-up of alien-like technology and some sort of out of control metamorphosis which couldnt decide what it wanted to be -.- Was quite disappointed and annoyed to see the game change from a potential blockbuster as u can see in this pic and movie here

to what it actually turned out to be how can someone develop a game into something worse than its teaser trailer I will never know.

The game is still in its alpha stage right now, so the outdated teaser really doesn't do it justice at the moment. I'd wait till they give a more recent trailer until being skeptical.

All i want is for them to sort out the gameplay mechanics. Not only did the combat get repetitive after a while, i found just repeatedly spamming jump blade attacks killed most mutants in 1 hit.

Dude, you need to get your facts straight. Alex got infected by a virus. Cole got radiated like Hulk. Also, since Prototype is available on 3 times as many platforms, it is actually 63 time better then Infamous.... Yeah.

Didn't he accidentally got infected after he died? Which caused his body to transform over time. Not to mention that the virus also revived him.. I assume his death caused the memory loss due to damage to the brain.
