Problems Starting game

hi everyone could i have the imformation of where to install the game because i got an error saying: could not load library C:\SIERRA\half-life/est/cl_dlls\client.dll....i dont have steam that may be the problem i have unistalled EFP so i can get instructions from whoever tells me what to do

i get this error from trying to join or create a game. I dont have steam that might be the problem.....

If you read around in the forums it is there plenty of times. But you need to update your half life and get the 1.1.1.0 patch. just type "1.1.1.0 patch" in google search and you will come up with places to download it. then just put it in your Half life directory. and get the fmod.dll from esf-world.com and stick that in your esf folder i think. if not your esf then your half life i forgot.
