Problem with serving on 1.2.3

ok, a little problem I have with serving on 1.2.3:

It doesn't take my options.
Always when the game starts, it starts with the default options.
Where's the problem?

it worked fine on an older version (1.2.0 or 1.2.1 if I remember correctly).
I'd really like this fixed, cause the default options are stupid (in my opinion) and I would really wan't to use mine.

anyone have a solution?

thats the exact same problem i have, i go create a game with option eg make it free fighting, then wen the game is created it is team mode???? somebody on the team has to hear about this

try setting your server config file (e.g. listenserver.cfg) to read only, and make the required changed in there.

i have the same problem. everytime i create a server and i want to play a freefight game, server comes up as a team mode. also i create a server and its created on LAN and i cant play with anybody but bots. help please. i tried changin stuff in listenserver.cfg but that didnt help. and its been like that for the last month or so. i cant create a internet game only LAN even tho i check everything before to make sure its not on lan.

i also tried the config thing but it didnt work for me either im fed up wid typing in console commands everytime i start a game

be shure to delete the game.cfg too.
Edit the listenserver.cfg, cause something tells me you havent.

If nothing, use the autoexec.cfg (make it in your ESF folder)
