Problem after problem!

Alright, the full copy is working somewhat this time.... well I shouldn't say WORKING, but its getting past that "not full" message. Well this time it says my "hl.exe/esf/autoexec.cfg" does not exist. Is there an alternate name for saving the file or in a different directory or what? If so, what is it named?

Just make a file in notepad and save as autoexec.cfg

Other then that I think it might be a download corrupted.

Right now i'm in school so I may not be able to see this message till 3 Est time, but this is somthing that i may need to know before i go home and ruin my computer anymore than it already is.

Thismorning before i left at about 6:00AM to 6:45AM i was trying different things, and actually tried saving the ESF file to a different thing in total but in the general directory. The file when opening it later on after getting everything in with STEAM just opened Half-life regularly and didn't even recognize the ESF files. when I get home would it be a good idea to instead just remove all the files once more and delete anything related to the game.. then start all over?
