prob. connectiong to server

when i connect to any ESF server it says
" your .dll[Cl_dlls\client.dll] differs from the servers" i just downloaded the game and got the newest patch for it. why wont it let me connect, what can i do to fix this?

Well, my bet is that you don't have Steam installed. Am i right? If you are using the old WON version, you are unable to play ESF. If you use the search function above however, you see alllot more people asked the same thing, and the latest version is v1.2.3
