I think this anime movie is awsome (IMO) Whoevers seen it has to agree that its a must see :yes: Its just one of those animes that lure you into it... u get a glimpse and as soon as you start paying attention, BOOM youre stuck watching it until the end

well let me think about this movie....
someone shoots through the "hero" so he has an big hole in his chest. and yeah you will see a lot of blood in the movie...so girly? dont think so xD

but yeah the movie is one of the best anime movies i've seen.

I've loved every Hyo Miazaki (sp?) anime I've seen. Totoro to Spirited Away. Mononoke was no exception. Brilliant writing and fluid animation make his feature films stand out.

Miyazaki films are always top notch, even though i hate the style they're drawn in, they still kick ass as far as art direction goes. Most of his films have strong female lead characters. Howls moving castle is my favourite though, spirited away coming close second.

Its about nature and gods existing in animal's bodies. Humans think these animals are demons so its like a hunting. And the girl "princess" tries to save them, so she fights. And then she has a friend etc etc...

The only part of that you got right is that the she tries to protect them and that they are reffered to as gods or demons.

The whole "princess" thing is nowhere exept the title. Im guessing its cause of the fact that she was picked up by the great wolf after she was abandoned as a baby.

But the true main character is A****aka (an actuall prince) and his journy to try and cure his curse. The whole movie is made so that you folow him and see what he does. Rather than focusing on the title character.

I know she had a friend who used to ride on a deer. Now I remember most of it, animals that used to be gods are infected and become demons, like that big pig. I dont remember where the infection came from but its related to pure human evil or something like that.

The gods became demons cause they died in a state of rage.

And they wernt really friends at the begining.

And it was a boar not a pig (you do know the difference right) ^^

So I was right when I said the infection was related to human evil ^^ .
I didnt remember the word "boar" so I called it a pig since it's within same animal family.

That's just a part of shintoism. Many spirits may be called "gods" but they aren't the all powerful alpha omega type of Gods in which many Americans are familiar with.
