You know why they do this don't you? Because they listen to to much Evanescence, and to much linkin park.

Then they write depressing livejournals and poems like this:

Except with more depression and even worse writing ability.

I'm fat', waiting for you to say 'Nah, you look great'. It does my head in when they do it. After years of that I just reply 'Yep' and walk off now. It's the only thing that stops me going insane and screaming at them.

I'm not saying all girls are like that by any means, I just know a good fair few who've done it long enough.

It is called fishing for compliments and is incredibly common in females. I don't remember the reason but there is psychology behind it. Either way remember this topic is not about psychology, it's about photos.
