you could use another program like fraps, if you dont have a Print Scr button on you keyboard.

I think this is my best desktop what i've ever had, though i had this wallpaper almost 1 year ago if you look at the earlier posts here
and i just had to magnify to some icons in dock because they look so totally cool!

i seriously want to know, why do you , for example use a macintosh?

i mean, i want a decent answer, not just : Windows is so much crappier.
please explain WHY.

I like the interface better I think it runs a lot smoother and theres far less problems with macs then with pcs. NO SPYWARE!!! oh God I love that. Plus since the beginning macs were always better at rendering and since rendering is going to be a huge part of my life and career (hopefully) then I go with macs. Plus after my desktop broke down I just didn't believe PCs were right for me anymore. Granted I did install windows on my macbook but that was only to play games

Well, why not buy a pc which should be in most cases even cheaper and having better hardware ofc, and install linux ?

I mean, Mac is based on unix, so that's why it's safe anyways, it's kind off like a Rip-off of linux in my opinion.

Btw, did you know that you can actually get linux to look exactly the same as os x, get os x/windows programs to work with certain emulators
Either way, Mac used to be for desingers and graphic artists, nowadays you can get all the programs even to windows (not all of them)
Plus, you can make your pc look JUST like mac in cases to monitor if you like.

Well being that I don't/didn't know much about linux I guess that kinda ****ed me over though. But my desktop died (the harddrive did) so I needed to make a decision on whether I wanted a PC again or a Mac laptop and I chose the laptop b/c I wanted mobility and something that would last me awhile. If I had known that it may have changed my opinion/options but I still think I would have gone with a Mac.

I dunno I just like reliability and I see my laptop being reliable and I see OSX to be reliable.

Dude, I got a few tips for you regarding your desktop. First, try to use ClearType (Properties > Appearence > Effects > ClearType), it gives style to the whole desktop. Second, get a custom theme, best you look at deviantart. Third, expand your QuickLaunch toolbar so that all the icons are visible, that scroll thing is known to annoy people (at least me xD). That wallpaper is good, but I like to have something that really blends in with the desktop, this sort of makes my intestines twirl. Try some homemade wallpapers (or just ask LegendarY he's got a truckload of 'em xD). And last but not least, save in .png format, not .jpg, because it craps up the whole pic.
