Can someone help me, i have a problem when im playin ESF and it crashes. I thought it was because i have win Xp, someone told me to right click on hl.exe and click compatabilaty and set it on win 98, i did and it still crashed.

No, don't use anything but XP...it works for me, you'll have to be more specific with your problem, just a general "crashes for me" can be just about anything. If you can play the game and then it crashes a little while later it's probably ESF, not XP. Remember, the Alpha version has a lot of bugs in it. And oh yea, any other OS besides XP just plain sucks

Shame is there discontinuing support and win2k is more tempromental with games anyway.

i dont think it is XP, cause ESF works fine for me and i have XP, hmm odd, yeh if there is still a prob post back, tell us and we could most likely help

xp is not the problem
perhaps you´re using w2k-drivers or something like that

btw
after how many minutes esf crashes?
because the esf-alpha tends to crash after some minutes, especially while ps

It might have somethin to do with ure video card settings or drivers!!

yeah from what ive heard its basically 2000 with all the service packs etc
