Photoshop Question

Aight, this is bothering me.

I see people with sigs that arent square or anything, and I was starting to practice that. However when I try to make a sig that has something sticking out of it, whenever I save it its still a square and theres white wherever it was transparent while viewing in PS. How the heck do you save stuff and keep the transparent part freaking transparent?! Thanks in advance.

I think it's making it as a .gif or something. Im not too sure about that though.

yeah save as gif, and u hafta set a colour as the transparent colour (doesnt matter which colour, make it one that isnt part of your work though :fight:
