Smo IS actually very good and is right about all of his critz
he is obviously a bit mad at dark1 for various reasons I believe.
But that's no reason to get on his back like that and acting as premature as he has shown. These kind of arguments should be worked out privately and not thrown out to the public making a fool of Darkone and his I must say very good work. I'll keep it to this statement.

I think it's a great model, and with the right C&C it can become a 1th Class Cell model.
my critz:
I think the horn thingy's should be a lil longer and his eyes are to thin.
and his wings should also be longer.

This point is what makes me so angry!
Darkone gives his best and he made a so great model and SMO comes and say: "my cell is 1000000x better"..... and other arguments like that.... is this good critic? i don´t think so....... and sorry for posting it here, but it´s darkones model and darkone is a nice guy and i know how hard it is to model and to make a so great model like his cell.

Gogeta.... yeah... with gogeta i made my worst mistake! I used his pics as a ref ;/
Maybe it was wrong to use it as a ref, but i never really copy his Gogeta... Whatever i know nobody here believe me and i really don´t care anymore about that! Gogeta is past and now i make my models with my own refs! I have a great Anatomy book and other stuff... i don´t need any help like before! But SMO the +++++++..... he cried because i used his gogeta pics as a ref... sorry guys but this is really childish and arrogant of him... I was a noob in this time I wanted something on that I can hold myself (baaah very hard for me to explain it in english, sorry...)
Whatever... now i can model (not very good but enough)...
AND GOGETA IS PAST like other things....
I don´t want to say to forget the past but i want to tell u to give someone more than just 1 chance!

SMO thinks like that: "1 time a robber, always a robber" or something like that...



Whatever, I think SMO is like the bad guy of TITANIC, lol

U maybe have made mistakes, but maybe not mistakes against SMO or something like that... and if u have made mistakes against SMO and he is still ur friend, u have kissed smo´s butt like u are doing now!

AND TO TELL U: i don´t think that it was a mistake to used smo´s gogeta- pics as a ref till now, because there isn´t anything wrong until u don´t copy the polyflow! And i never do that, because I have known that it would be coppying if i follow his polyflow and in this time i was a noob too...

And darkone did also post a very bad post... when he posted his REF- Pics he used he said:" Don´t use them for ur own work"... this post is like a SMO post... I bet darkone didn´t draw the cell- pic he used as a ref hisself and say "don´t use them for ur own work"... this is really sad...
I have never seen any guy who get money for modeling saying something like that, because he don´t care...
And do u know why? because making the same thing like he did is also as hard work... AS LONG AS U DON`T FOLLOW THE POLYFLOW (my opinion^^)

well darkone, its not that you make models whihc look bad, but its mostly that you make models whihc dont look like dragonballz characters. when you make a model, you dont stick when the correct shape/proportions of the characters like they are in the show, you warp them into a style which you've made from i dont know what. the goku and the cell where botth modeled fairly well, but neither look or have the right feel of the characters you're trying to make in both the model and the skin. im not really sure what can be said to help because you say you are following davids ref, but then there is people like smo, for example, with his cell and gohan, and mdave with well any of his models, in which a combination of the skin and model both having the right feel for the character they were meant to look like which makes then in the end actually look like the character.

uh... huh. no i didnt kiss smo's but to be his friend. i aimed him and we started talking. i wasn't a noob who used his refs to make my own model. u, on the other hand used his gogeta model as a ref, then turned around and used his kid buu. if you say im an ass-kisser for being his friend, and speaking the truth then so be it. i'm just saying that in this particular moment, smo is more like helping darkone rather then hating. he did draw him a drawover and pointed up errors didnt he? alright then. my post was relativly true, and was in no meaning to hurt anyone. kreshi i can call you names, threaten you, and all that other jazz, but i was and used to be ur friend, and i dont make comments about former friends. this thread is on the verge of closing, so darkone sorry for the post.

sigh....... ok guys, why is everybody getting so worked up? the moderators have all been talking about, for a long time, about how immature our model forum-goers are. and they are right. if we cannot behave in a SOMEWHAT civil manner, we will have this thread closed. stick to the subject of helping darkone improve his model. at the same time, you guys need to realize, being good at modeling does not make you a better person than somebody else, and as such, we need to lose thes egos guys. seriously, stop being children. thats all.

and darkone, nice model, but yeah i agree, the nose placement really takes away from the luster of your model.

first off, depending on which way smo will react to your post, it could be an insult, or it could.... not. That's not for you to decide, it's for him.

You might not have been ripping, but it's something looked down on, and that's the main point, and if people use darkone's reference, it might not be ripping, but people are going to dislike the person that uses the reference.



If his model was second class, why did you use it as a reference?

I've had conflict with smo before, I don't see him coming at me with a knife in his hand ready to slit my throat every time I post.

But with the second class i have mean the model- "PIC" not the model itself!
A Model- PIC can never be as great as a original PIC!!!!

But if u read Smo´s post exactly u will find out what´s his reason why he make models... i think he has a self- cheat- complex... for me it seems like he want to assuage his complex or something like that.... i don´t really know if this is the reason, but for me it looks like that and nothing more :/

Kreshi, i understand what ur saying, but what does the way other people think bother you so much? forget about it, this thread is here to help darkone make his model, and thats what we should do, forget about all the crap thats happened, its history, if u want smo to forget about it, then you should too.

Anyway. The head is now in proportion, and the eyes look a little better, but the ridge above the eyes is a little too deep, it should be a little less aparent. The knees do need work, the knee cap isnt just a round shape, u have to shape the leg armour to suit it as well, and u need to make sure the purple is aparrent there, cuz its important. the flares in the body armour of cell are slightly thicker as well, if u take a look at the legs u made, the ridges at the top are too thin. Also, unlike normal legs, cells legs are blocky, and get wider towards the knee (which is quite typical of dbz actually) anyway, i hope u listen to what i say .

as for darkone or DaN what ever he goes by - i helped him when he started skinning, he then turned around and completely stole my style and told people how great i said he was - which i never. in my opinion he should be banned from these forums for ban evading all those time .
