Am I the only one who thinks that downloading 18MB of mp3's was a little uncalled for?

The mp3's should be an optional download, especially seing as how most people don't listen to music while playing first person shooters.

That and the fact that not EVERYONE has broadband available in their area.

You have any idea how long it takes to download 18MB on a 56k modem? An hour at BEST.

Read the text when you install it... you can choose advanced install and so and one without the MP3's...

Yeah but he still has to download the entire file no matter if he chooses a custom install or not. The next release they will be sperate, at least i'm pretty sure of that.

It should be, since we all downloaded it. Maybe each tune could be a seperate DL, so that way as future versions come out we don't have to re-DL them.

 Hey, maybe they could be turned into midi's! If you use winamp you could still play them in the background as you play ESF. I wouldn't be as nice, but it would help you decide which were worth the download.

I dunno about you, but I listen to all kinds of music when I play fps games.

I always end up shutting off the in-game mp3's, though. They're alright, they match the gameplay. But...the first time I installed, I had to download em, too. Didn't take TOO long..luckily i had switched over to dsl awhile before. Having to download them is pretty ridiculous and unecessary.

While it's a nice extra, I think the mp3's should just be removed.

I dunno, those Mp3's get pretty catchy after awhile. Whoever did them did a good job.
