Opinions anyone?

I just want to know everyone's opinions, I would like to think that you all agree with me that steam sucks. Though it is "the future of valve products" says Gabe Newell (co-founder at Valve)... Just please let me in on your thoughts...

Steam sucks, for now. The idea of steam is really good, but it was just released before all the bugs and such were hammered out.

Besides the installation, I really havent had any problems with Steam

steam itself isnt so bad, like evil trunks said, it was just released before it was de-bugged.

i have a real big problem with cs 1.6 but that would be gettin off topic.

the new console windows and this friends stuff can promote a type of 'lan cheating'. lets say your playing cs or dod, something that you could benefit from knowledge of the opponents position. your friend spectates or gets killed, your friend can now go into his friends messager thing and tell you exactly where to go.

i am happy to see that steam fixes the minimizing bug though. you can minimize and maximize without losing sound which is VERY GOOD. but again this can promote outside help in games. if you dont wish to use the in-game steam friends chat, you can minimize and go on aim. with aim the guy your helping out doesnt even have to minimize, you can send your voice and say "hes behind that rock" and your friend will hear it while still in game.

I agree, cheating is definately gonna be going on in steam... But there's nothing they can do except bring back WON, WON was perfect, I don't understand the whole idea of steam, WON was absolutely fine... Plenty of servers, good graphics, good connections, good everything... But then one day, Gabe Newell decides to create steam, which I don't mind at all. But then he decides to shut down WON, and for that I will unleash my SSJ2 wrath upon him!!! kaaa-mee-haa-mee-haaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!
