You can tell a lot about a person by the movies they like.
I personally don't watch or care about the awards that are given to movies, probably cause I could careless what an academy thinks of a movie since I'm the one watching it. So here's the deal; you make your very own Oscars, with categories and such, I'll start. The movies don't have to be recent, they can be your all time favorites. I think it would be best if the movies were

Best Action: The Matrix Revolutions
Best Comedy: The Holy Grail
Best Drama: Saving Private Ryan
Best Series: Band of Brothers
Best Actor: Russel Crowe
Best Actress: Kirsten Dunst

Best Picture: Lord of the Rings: Return of The King.

Feel free to add categories as well.

I'll keep it to some of my favorites. Though there's quite a bit of ties.

Best Action: Equilibrium (runners up: Matrix movies, once upon a time in china movies)
Best Comedy: History of the World Part I (RU: any other mel brooks, any monty python, Wonder Boys)
Best Drama: Forest Gump (RU: Castaway, October Sky)
Best Series: Stargate SG1 (argue all you want )
Best Family Film: The Labrynth (dude, it's David Bowie music)
Best Animated: Naussica: Valley of the wind (RU: Ghost in the shell films)
Best Actor: Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford (many more favs)
Best Actress: Glen Close (I'm bad with names, there are many more favs of mine)
Best Effects: Since they got robbed this year, Sky Captain and the World of Tommorrow. Prolly couldn't get nominated due to the half assed story, despite its qualifications for an award like this.

I dont think this game completley works because they dont give oscars to films from the past. Just recent ones.
