OMG it still doesnt work!!!!

i redownload esf and reinstalled it and replaced my .dll files and stuff and it still gives me this damn message :\ . Couldn't find map maps/esf_cell_day.bsp, server will download the map
Your .dll [cl_dlls\client.dll] differs from the server's.
Host_Error: Disconnected




so please if u could help me that would be great.

Ima make a how to install ESF and steam guide in the noobie section, too many people have problems with this.

Edit: Well, i dont think i will be making that guide as someone has already made one far far before i even thought of it. Read my sig and go to this link http://forum.esforces.com/showthread.php?t=32921

Edit 2: Oh yeah, one more thing. PLEASE stop making new threads, just continue the old ones. I looked down the list and this is i think your third or fourth thread on this topic, your just taking up space now. Its pretty much the same thing as double posting.

well thanks alot i finally got it to work and me on servers :laff: and sorry aout my posts ;D but now i have a new problem :\ now i cant see my buttons i have already copied my old configs but still no buttons can anyone help me????

hmmm... okay do the buttons work or you just cant see them? If they work then its normal, no one can see their buttons in the configuration section of esf for steam

lol :laff: thanks alot man. yeah they work just i can see them in the config. and another thing how do i punch i know how to change the thingies and use some of my powers but when i go to punch mouse1 nor mouse2 works. so can u help thanks alot again :laff:

okay, first of all, i advise you to look at my sig. There atleast a hundred posts covering this,
To punch, you must be in melee mode(has pic of fist) Then you must target somone by clicking on them with mouse1, you should now see a red box arround them if youve done this correctly. Then you can use mouse2 to punch/kick/slash them if they are within range of your blow. You can use click mouse1 to swoop at them, and hold mouse2 down to hit them. It is advised for you to hold down mouse2 when you want to attack somone becuase just tapping the button may not always work.
