hi my names zalibur (no duh) and im really confused do i absolutley need CS in order to have ESF? ESF seems so perfect but (dont laff) i cant get M games!! ;( anyways, if u taught me a way or made sum way to not have CS me and many others would be h4ppy!!

I'm really not sure about what your saying but you basically need Half-life to play ESF. You can also play it with any retail mod version such as CS or DoD but having CS is not nesscesary in some cases.

You're going to need either Half-Life retail, or Counter-Strike retail. There may be others, but I know those two work for sure. ESF is a mod for Half-Life, so of course you're going to need the Half-Life engine to play it.

esf is a modification of halflife, so therefore u need the halflife engine to play it (or u can buy counterstrike retail)

You need Half-life Retail (or the platinum pack), Counter-strike Retail, or Day of Defeat Retail. I am also fairly sure that they are all rated at least M.
