ok anyone on the help forum righ now that knows anything about steam i NEED HELP!

ok ill tell u exactly what i do:

1. i log into steam and hl isn't in my playgames list how do i get it in there?
2.after this do i install esf 1.2?
3. what do install first steam or HL
i have everyting unistalled so im listening

ok once you install steam, you should have a list of greyed out games in your steam games list.
you double click on the games you want and either click I already own this game or next, and follow the steps.

You do need a legit cdkey to be able to play however.

its not even in the greyed out area and the cdkey says its duped but i bought the game wtf

Although i don't know much about CD-Keys problem you should try checking the Steam Troubleshooter

its more than likely someone used a cd key generator and had that key already made before you bought it but i have seen people literally go into the store rip the box open and copy the cd key and than run away from security

you're not allowed to ask for cdkeys here as it is a form of warez which isn't allowed on this forum or server.

I doubt that this is true, from what i know, steam will show all games, no matter what, with no cd key or a cd key, and consult Valve for help, there was a cdkey report there, but you require a code in the book (A Customer Support code i am guessing) or atleast, there is something. I still highly doubt that, and if i am wrong, don't you enter the cd-key for steam account, and also, if you already made an account but typed something wrong, that is why.

Browse games

after i go to browse games and register product it says subscription pending then i install them and it says steam servers are tpo busy to follow your request when it tries to make a cache of hl/tfc/cs/dmc/rico. then after steam says the cdkey is duped i cant install it anymore the icons never appear
