I wouldn't have seen it anyways.

Nothing really cool about sitting in a theatre for 1 1/2 hours with a bunch of kids shouting kamehameha...

No surprise here. Officially, the movie had never even started, and even if it would've happened, there is no way anyone could make a decent live-action dbz movie. There drawings for a reason.

Hibiki: Yes, that is true. I don't think the human brain was ready to survive the damage it could recieve by such a movie.

The entire point of cartoons is that there is no flesh restriction. In fact there is no restriction at all. You can do anything at all in a cartoon, wheras in movies, special effects can only go so far. A live action movie would have truly sucked. In fact it would have sucked in so many ways that i can hardly imagine how many assassination attempts would have gone past to kill the script writers, or authors.

The movie recieves:
The cancelation recieves:

I think the majority of people who were "following" the movie could already tell it wasn't going to happen. It's no loss to anyone or to anything.

I could have seen this movie turning out to be the next 'Street Fighter.' That movie was _BEYOND_ terrible. I mean, there was terrible, and then there was Street Fighter the Movie. Ken's hair wasn't even blonde! I'm so glad they didn't defile DBZ's grave like that.. So glad..

Lol - i think its best if Hollywood leaves japanese animation alone for now. For the sake of the future and all mankind.

I would like to remind all our users that NO OFFICIAL STATEMENT HAS BEEN RELEASED by 20th Century Fox, so this might be false
LOOK WHAT HE ADDED TO HIS LAST LINE

Yea, but there was never an official statement released by 20th Century Fox about the movie being made in the first place.

It's like I already said, the movie isn't cancelled, you can't cancel something they were never making.

That movie could have had potential if it wasn't treated like some crappy little kids movie, but it would have been so in a way Im glad its not happening.

yes, subtitles will suffice till all of us finally learn japanese... like a true anime fan would. :D

Imagine the final fight between Neo and Smith, and you can practicaly imagine any battle in a DBZ live action movie. Lots of camera spinning and cg animation. I also noticed that Optimus.... it almost looks like they completely made it all up.
