Nice MOD idea?????

We are making a MOD... and I would like to know what yall think..
Would anyone play a good X-Men mod?... now i dont really like X-Men... but i think this just sounds too tight...

CHARACTERS:

Wolverine: Life regenerates, has feral instincts (can see well in dark and can see faintly through walls), Can wall jump, and more...

Nightcrawler: Can climb walls, Teleport at will (kinda like ESF teleport), can see well in dark, can go slightly Invisible (Full while idle for a bit), and more...

Storm: Can fly, Shoot Lightning bolts, blow you away with Wind attack (Only does damage if victum is knocked into something), and more...

Beast: Lots of hp, Can jump high, Can grip (climb) walls, Mostly a Melee character... (of course some long ranged will be worked out) and more...

Cyclopes: Charge up laser shots, Laser blind shot (To the eyes for no damage), Laser Pistol, and more...

Iceman: Can Fly (Looks like a stream of Ice) , Can use freeze attack (Slows opponent down), Can Ice the floor (Works kinda like a mine, cept you go into an animation of shooting the floor and you see ICE) and when someone steps on it they begin to "Slip", and more...


Now those are some characters... any tips or comments about the MOD would be really appreciated. Thank you...

Sounds like a good idea, but I'm wondering how you are planning to code the 'stream of ice' you were talking about...

Are those all the characters?
If so might wanna add Gambit, because hes the best.
It sounds like alot of work you have to put forwarth, but if this works out hopefully this will be a very popular mod.

Hey, good idea.
But just think about balancing the character before making it. Think about how people could be cheap. e.g Storm can fly, wolferine can wall jump, storm could easily dodge wolfverine's attack. (But hey, it's just your concept of da mod, you'll find a way to balance them

With Storm she could have an energy bar like ESF's PL bar.
So that she can not stay in the air forever.

Sorry, as for the "Stream of ice" .... i mean that it would look like hes sliding on ICE when it would actually just be a stream behind him and below him that looked like ICE... like streams in ESF...


No...those are not all the characters sorry... those were off the top of my head and of course more will be added...


As for the balancing issue... a long range for every character will be worked out of course... in order to even things out.... i meant the "Wall Jump" for Wolverine to be more of an evasive menuver...

One of the issues i am trying to resolve is what the maps would look like... im thinking maybe like an outdoor snowy woods would work nice with some trees...but... other than that i cant think of much... a facillity.... but it would have to have doors to large rooms so storm could effectively use "fly"

sounds GREAT! i love Xmen! i just went and saw the xmen 2 movie.... cool! you should add rogue, and she could suck peoples life points and take the abiities of anyone she wanted for a little while. And also add Pyro, hes cool! He could shoot fire balls and **** like that....

What about Angel? He's pretty cool too, lol.. he made a sort of "cameo" appearance at the VERY end of X2.. can barely tell what it is, but the glow in the lake is Angel I think... And you better not forget Gambit. He just pwns j00 all. Give him his cards, his stick, and some kickass agility and speed, and he's done. For Wolverine, make him fast, and make his health re-generate, but make his attacks slow... Magneto is a must have character too.. be able to levitate and drain life (like Force Grip from JK2), and maybe be super effective against Wolverine. Clyclops never has a laser pistol.. and make sure to give them the comic outfits, cept for Wolverine, cuz he looks better in the movie..... yellow spandex, and he's supposed to be a badass?

well that would be a realy easy.. just look at the series where do they play? cities, encampments, woods, spaceships etc.. just rent a movie and watch carefully and you'll find some neat places.

You have to have your villians, of course. Try to make your mod a little more by adding the very very new characters introduced in the comics recently. Refer to the "Uncanny X-Men" comic series for inspiration. New Heroes like Husk could make things a lot more fresh and interesting.

NOTE TO ALL: To the people who stated the MOD needs more characters i have to say this, What i said was a basic runndown of the characters... of course more will be added as time progresses. And to all who are suggesting characters thankz P (OOH and by the way, Cyclopes DID have a laser pistol... latched to his side... you just rarely notice it. Well according to the Cartoon he does :/
