Next GTA, Setting.

I'm bored and highly addicted to GTA: Vice City and the other GTA games, and I'm anticipating Manhunt, and hopefulyl a new GTA game within the next year.

I'm just curious when you'd liek to see this game take place, I've seen alot of polls on sites about this so I thought I'd post one here.

i say another gta3 style timeline, so back to a liberty city style but slightly more towards 2002/3, that ways we get the flashy guns, cool cars and sweet city's, but we get the better system/graphics, thats my idea

I agree. I liked Vice city, but a game that I can relate too would be nice.

Or a Future one haha, If and only if rockstar could pull off a good Future one I'd like it.

It'd be crazy to have cool weapons from the future, maybe not SUPER futurey, like no flying cars lol, but maybe 2020 lol and have really cool cars and neat-o weapons and when at like 6 stars the army sent out human controlled mechas you could steal .

ya i think the future one would be nice to try. I kinda think it would be cool to send robot police after yas. Etc etc. So i ya i agree with yas Zeni. The first gta3 on ps2 was good but someting about that didnt tickle me fancy much. But Vice City did. Anyway i would say the modern one is nothing special cuz they pretty much had one out and even though it was a good size city but something about that didnt seem to work for meh. Who knows what is in store for the next GTA3. Though i will look forward to it.

i want it to be more modern. i mean i liked the 80's one, but i want somethin more recent. i think the next one should take place in LA. which thats where i think its gonna be.

San Andreas, Sin City, GTA4, and a few others, I'm not sure which one it'll be but Either way I'll buy it, even if I need a PS3 for it [I heard rumours 4 would come out for PS3, how true that is I dunno]

lol LA. I thik it would be a great location. I mean i can imagine like working for a guy located at the Chinese Graumans Theatre. I think that would be really neato. Or someone at the Fox Studios to do some blowing up movies or something or something related to that. heh. Just some thoughts really. man im not gonna buy a motha ****in ps3 just to play GTA4... :S even though i could but umm no. Maybe ill ask for it for Christmas.

In the next one I want more buildings accesible, thats why a PS3 one may not be so bad. Then you could have more buildings accesible, better details, a better engine, even more witty comments, more cars, weapons ,pedestrain skins/models, hell maybe different shop selections, not just standard ones but bizarre ones that sell headcrabs.

Modern times,
if you noticed in the very first GTA, there were 3 cities, Libery, Vice City, and..dammit, I forgot the name of the last one, well thats what I think the next GTA will take place in, but I hope it takes place in teh present time.

I rather keep it modern. The future would just seem too weird and unfun for me.

I Believe the next GTA is actually going to be Multiplayer or have a multiplayer feature. As for timeline? Modern. I'd like to hijack a cadilac CTS.

a future one would be cool but then again how hard would it be to steal a futuristic car? and the cops would prolly own your ass and plus gps and stuff like that is a lamer cause you cant get away from the cops if you have that ****.

rofl mars. if they made it future I'd want it to be a future I'll be alive in, in say 20 or 30 years.

they definately need to have a place with a stuntman type arena, lik ethe blood ring, but just there for you to mess around in,

(i know you all had your favorite jump spots youd sit at for hours on end doing it over and over again)

and maybe like in VC when you get your own proerty, like your house, you can build onto it with the money you make, like make a swimmin pool, a mansion, cars to be parked out front, in the garagem etc, ..basically become the king of bling bling,

get what im sayin?

add a little bit of personolization to it

I'd either weant Modern or a future one.

And in the next one I'd liek there to be ALOT of different, buildings, and properties to buy, all with pros and cons and most of them relativly different.
