It has nothing to do with them not caring. They just can't read your suggestions for fear of being sued by some douchebag.

Hah, we've already told you, and you choose not to listen. Cell only has one voice. Just because Funimation decided to **** things up (like they do with everything they touch), doesn't mean it's broken. The developers choose not to adhere to their changes, and with good reason.

Why don't we just add carebears to the game, and little fluffy pink rabbits while we're at it?

No limit on techniques. No end to combos.

Here's what you've all said, encompassed into one sentence:
"I WANT A WIN BUTTON!"

I don't understand what's the point of Atari making games. If they don't want to listen our(the game players, fans)suggestions, then they will never be able to make a successful game.

I dunno man. I find BT2 to be the most engrossing as far as DBZ games go. It's one of the only games I've played where, to me, it 'feels' DBZ.

I don't really see any problems with it, other than some minor voice bugs and some other minor improvements. I know I'll probably get lynched for it but I actually like it's melee system and am glad it's not like other fighting games.

Plus to be honest I'm finding a lot of these suggestions foolish. Limitless combos--can't you already do like 100 hit combos if you're good enough? WEAKER attacks that don't take off a whole bar of life--so you want these moves to be too wussy to be useful anymore?

Also they really have listened to a lot of suggestions--the characters, in-game transformations, including characters from DB and the movies, more what-if stories, bigger maps (though not by much, but still).

This is a seriously ungrateful and spiteful generation in video gaming, man.

God forbid people want a game thats close to perfection. We should just accept mediocrity and work 9-5 jobs until we can't work anymore and then just die in an old folks home. That'll show the generation before us.

Make off-hand suggestions in their forums and hope for the best. As long as you're not sending it directly to them, they can't be sued (since you posted in a public forum). Its a win/win situation. They get what they want, you get what you want.

That's funny. Only a week or two ago, you were talking about how you were busting a nut over Tenkaichi Budokai 2, and now, the "best game ever" has suddenly become "mediocre..."

All I'm going to say is that needs to be a DBZ game on the PC made by a real development company, not a mod (no offense to ESF, we all know it's awesome). It needs to not be a fighting game, it should be either third person or first person. As for actaul game mechanics, i'm not sure, but it's a start.
/agreed.

I'd love a dragon ball z game that's made by an actual company. Don't get me wrong ESF is an awsome game. But you need half life, and I'd like something that's a little more.....i don't know what. pizazz I dunno. eff u i can't think of a word :(

Well, perhaps I could describe then, since I don't mind:

* We need a game that uses the latest graphics technologies, so we can get the most performance out of our hardware.
* Perhaps something that gives us the choice of either cel-shaded, or regular solid-shaded models.
* Something that doesn't have STEAM included -- Steam is a big resource hog, and makes the games run slower than they need to.
* A new engine that's designed without the same limitations that Half-Life or the Source Engine currently possess (after all, the Source Engine is a heavily modified HL engine -- don't let Valve fool you there).
* An engine with fully destructible environments would be great. Imagine it; thrown through a building, and you get up. The building hasn't fallen, but you begin to powerup, and now the place is falling down around you.
* Give the player the ability to make their own characters from scratch. Evolution X is nice, but, what would be better than pummeling your foes with your own home-made character?
* Let's see a game that's programmed for both single and multi-player in mind -- online multi-player that is! Imagine logging on to a server doing a Tenkaichi Budokai, and choosing to either watch or participate in the action. It's time to break down the barriers that are distance, and connect the best friends together -- even if they're 500,000 kilometres apart!

Those are just a few ideas off of the top of my head. :)

He was emphasizing his point to pride he wasn't even talking about Tenkaichi so stop busting your nuts and stay on topic that has nothing to do with suggestions.

That's funny, because I've never played either of the Tenkaichi's.

Not at all. The game is excellent. Some people just need to learn to count their blessings.

Could have been much worse, but, good still isn't good enough. And people wanna claim there are errors where there aren't.

And not-directed at MF29:
And some people need to figure out that a statement isn't directed at them specifically, but they're too vain to figure that out, because they think the universe revolves around them. :)

Its pretty decent, I must admit I do like it a lot, but i still see so many things that are wrong with the game. I hate to say it, but the melee system is very repetitive, after the frieza saga It was more like a chore to unlock all the characters than having fun playing the game =\ but I was in a rush to finish the game and get all the characters I could since my mates were coming round the next day, and we played it for a good 6 hours or so. I play it all the time with my mates now, but my opinion has yet to change.

There's 3 ways to kill your enemy nice and quickly, the aerial combo, the basic melee approach and beams/rushes, all of which can be linked up in that order, taking 3-5 bars of damage in one go. Thats about all there is to the high damage. Some characters are just better than others, there's virtually no choice in playing style its just, this characters faster, this characters harder, this characters beams are hard, this character has great rushes... etc... you play with each character almost identically, except you can afford to take more chances with the faster characters. I've always considered the L2 and triangle the "I win" buttons in tenkaichi, I know you can teleport at almost any time, but you still cant do **** when charging a ki blast, or charging a punch when getting close to your enemy in swoop, not to mention you can now beam even easier after certain melee combo's, it used to be just throw that ment you couldn't dodge a beam straight after, but now you can after the aerial combo and the basic melee combo's. That being said, the teleport dodge is significantly improved, which is a huge improvement from the first, its just a shame that after melee you're nearly always dazed in the situations where beams are a garenteed hit.

Personally, whether you agree with me or not, I had more fun playing super dbz, there were only 2 game modes, survival and arcade, but working out every character, getting them new skills and leveling them up was a joy. Everytime you level up it opens up new options for you character, to improve/change your tactics. Each character played completely differently, but they were all so well balanced. It is in essence about the juggling when you come to creating your own combo's, which Im sure many people will dislike, since the opponent has no input into the outcome, but when you realise how hard it actually is to juggle properly in sdbz and how god damn accurate with the timing and button pressing you need to be, you'd understand. The combo's hardly ever come into play in fights, if you happen to pull of a combo you've spent hours trying to perfect, mad props to you, because I only get them out against my mates once in a blue moon. I just wish there was another dbz game with the diversity, tactics, customisation and depth of gameplay as sdbz, If they could mix it with the scale of tenkaichi and free flight-ness it'd be the best dbz game ever =P

But still... if only there was a way of mixing WoW with ESF....

No it's not, it's think twice, speak once.
Your ancient proverb isn't an ancient proverb considering they didn't have lawns and white picket fences way back when.\

Either way, you've mistaken me for someone else and I'd appreciate it if you apologized to me for hurting my feelings and for deeply offending me.

LV35 Namek LFG.

I agree, an MMORPG DBZ game would kick ass, as long as the action was real-time (probably impossible for a game of such scale).

They need to pay the current ESF HL Mod team to direct a completelly new made game.
Not just translate an already made japanese ported game.
