new game mode idea....

this may not be possible, but i'll explain briefly what my idea is, basically its a team mode type game (good V evil) and ur in a city with pedestrians, (this would be like a few small models with a few animations as bots) and the aim of the game for the evil team, is to kill as many pedestrians as possible (the pedestrians would respawn), and the aim of the game for the good guys is to save the pedestrians from being killed..... i dont know how it would all work, or is its even possible, but i thought it cud be fun.........

actually i like this idea its pretty cool also u could put like a super bot that everybody has to kill for like a story mode if there ever is one like a super brolly

Yeah, it was suggested many many times b4. I think it's a good idea to add some different kind of team work to the game.

for the next bot version(almost done) there are super bots :)
whe u create 1 this super bot joins team evil, all remaining players auto join team good. Though not really a story but you can fight with your team mates against an overpowered bot :)

I'm not sure if you could do that right now, but I could be wrong.
It sounds like a fun game mode, but it might make quite a bit of lag having to send information about every pedestrian in the map.
It still sounds like fun though, it's a cool idea. ^.^

That many models in a game would cuase problems as well. Unless the pedestrians were very low poly models, you probably couldn't have to many at a time.

Me, That's excellent, can't wait to try out that new bot feature. :)

see most suggestions are rejected, esf gets boring sometimes it needs a littile twist, i find this a good suggestion, i sometimes find it SUX to always have ppl respawning and just killing u, u respawn and kill them and goes on forever, this should be set to have last one standing or watever or teamwork and other cooperatives, like cs, deffuse, hostage, escape, and assisination, thats y it dont get old alot, but if esf had had new stuff and new twists to it, it would make the game funner, believe me

unless there were only 5 models at a time, and every time one was rescued or killed, it would respawn somewhere else.

interesting idea.

I don't think it's a good idea (yet), because
1. killing them would be too easy in ESF .. just use huge explosions, kiblobs or swoop them ... then try to prevent them
2. what's about the PL ??? will the evil team get PL for killing them ??? because there should be more then more target ... and them give them PL for each kill ???
3. points ... it's much harder to prevent the target then to kill them ... how would you give the points for each team ???
4. coding ... it sound like much to code ... and I think you wanna have a release soon ;)

the half life mod: Master Sword is kind of like this and that doesn't lag up, and that has to calculate attacks and being attacked, and good looking models (orcs, bats, rats, etc)

whoever has played ms, will know what i'm talking about

On topic: it's a sweet idea
